Requirements
Learn how to implement a fun kid’s gardening program that will engage children and have them wanting to spend time in the patch!
With 4 themed dramatic play lesson plans to choose from you will have a gardening program that is suitable for every season of the year. You will be able to teach children aged between 2-5yrs and assist many of them with their very first introduction of how to plant and grow vegetables.
Children will love the visual props, that bring to life characters from nursery stories and you will love helping children to plant, sow and harvest their crops!
Choose from Jack and The Beanstalk, Evie the Strawberry Patch Rescue, Tale of Peter Rabbit and Peter Rabbit on a Vegetable Hunt.
Also included are activities for the important environmental dates, a seasonal garden journal for each child and certificates for an end of season graduation.
Worm farming and composting also covered.
School holiday programs are optional and our Terracotta Pot Decorating and Planting Workshop is a successful program that can be run at school vacation care, shopping malls and family day care.
You will feel confident and inspired to kick start your small business as a Children’s Gardening Presenter with the knowledge that this is a trialled and tested program that has successfully taught over 4,000 children how to grow.
